So the last weekend was the first day of the Spring Racing Carnival!!
One of my friends decided to have their 21st in the members area at Rosehill. This usually goes for about $120 a ticket not including food and drink. Although the members area was very nice and had a great view I don't know if i'd pay that if we went again! It was a great day overall, we doubled our winnings from $10 to $20, a very high return i think. As you can see above all the girls looked beautiful and all the boys looks dapper!
I loved getting all dressed up and i thought i would share some of the outfits with you!
To start off, I thought i would show you a shot of the make up i put together for the day.
Ok, so to start i used a normal foundation liquid with a powder. I used my bronzer to contour my cheeks, i actually do not have any concealer or highlighter on my face. I used a red lip pencil under my lipstick to make ti stay longer. I used softer colours for eye shadow as it was a day trip. I used a light brown and a gold on the lid. Then liquid liner and mascara. This photo was taken almost at the end of the day so that shows the staying power of the make up.
I just thought i would quickly go over some of the girls outfits, however i will do mine in detail later. Starting Left to right.
Ashlee bought everything she is wear on Ebay for, something like, $12, bargin!
Following her is Jasmine who i am unsure of where her outfit came from but if you are interested, comment and I will find out for you.
Next, Sarah. She is is a 6 ft model, as you can see. I believe she bought her dress in a boutique in Melbourne, and she made her fasinator herself. Amazing!
The birthday girl next, she bought her dress online from ASOS as with Cara, next to her.
Finally the last two girls both got their outfits from Sportsgirl!
Ok my outfit! The dress was from a site called 'JenJenHouse' I bought it for $140, a little pricy i know but i think i will get the wear out of it, as i have a few occasions coming up! My fasinator i got from my Nan for Christmas! My handbag i wore to my year 12 formal, and i bought it from a boutique in Cabramatta (Its kind of like Chinatown). The shoes i borrowed from my Mum and all the jewellery is either given to me from Daniel or from Roma!
