KATY PERRY'S KILLER QUEEN PERFUME

A few months ago Daniels Grandfather passed away only a few weeks before his birthday. So in honour of him and his birthday, we decide to hire a yacht and go out on the water, something he loved. So I decided to do a day in the life/OOTD post about it.

I honestly think Daniel could have a great career as an Abercrombie and Fitch model 

 Here I was trying to do what Tyra has taught me on ANTM, Smize through the glasses, use your environment and model 'head to toe!" I think she would be proud. You can also see my cute shorts, they have little anchors all over them, very yacht appropriate.

This was Daniels face after he tried Oysters for the first time, safe to say he didn't love it.

Review: Lush Shower Scrub

I have been using this Rub Rub Shower Scrub for a long long time now and I thought it was about time I write a review!

Rub Rub Rub is a bit of a variation on the normal shower gel. Sea salt is gently exfoliating, extra cleansing and mineral-rich. After scrubbing, it dissolves in water, leaving your plughole free of blockages. This new blue scrub is startlingly refreshing, with a dash of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossom. Just hop in the shower and rub, rub, rub!

I love the colour and the texture, I find so many Exfolating scrubs on the market are to afraid to be rought, but exfoliators need to be rough! This scrub is the perfect balance between hard and soft because it does disolve over time.

The smell is very zesty and fresh, I believe it is coming the salt and lemon mixture. It is because of these ingredients that makes this scrub so amazing for skin care. It really opens and cleans out your pores.  I use this on any problem areas I have and it works better than any blemish cream I have ever used! I had the mother of all pimples, it was under the skin but also on top of the skin and swollen and I had tried everything from Clearasil to toothpaste and it was so stubborn. The only thing I that worked for me was the Lush Rub Rub.

Victorias Secret Fantasy: Pure Seduction

The Victorias Secret's Fantasy range has been around for a long while now and I had been looking forward to purchasing some when I went to the states earlier this year. Unfortunately, once I entered the store, things escalated pretty quickly and I bought the whole range. It was only though my incredible sales skills, was I able to convince my husband that it would be ok on the 18 hour journey home! None the less, all my hard work paid off and here we are, a complete review of the whole range of VS Fantasy in the sent of pure seduction. ( Imagine the functionality of the products wont vary between scents so there is no need to review all the different types)

DAILY BODY WASH

 Experience the luxury of fragrant cleansing. Foaming formula features conditioning aloe vera, plus antioxidant vitamin E. Lather on for gentle, refreshing cleansing. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation.

Overall, this product definitely lived up to my expectations. Although to be completely honest, it is a body scrub, so my expectations weren't too high. The scent lingers after the shower, which is an area a lot of body washes fall down in. Other then that, what more can a body wash do other than clean you and if it doesn't clean you, I'd get a refund!

SMOOTHING BODY SCRUB

Experience the luxury of fragrant cleansing. Dual-action sugar scrub gently exfoliates as it purifies. Lather on wet skin, focusing on rough spots, then rinse off for an all-over glow. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation.

You can really smell the sugar in the sugar scrub in this. It is a good scrub that foams and lathers quite nicely. I find that with exfoliators, they are either too rough or not rough enough and turns into a scrub. This is not exactly the perfect balance but it is pretty good for a daily exfoliator but if you do have a skin concern, you will probably need a more heavy duty one.

FRAGRANCE MIST

Experience the luxury of fragrance. Refreshing formula is infused with conditioning aloe vera and calming chamomile. Spray on for a sexy touch of scent.

This mist doesn't last as long as a perfume but does have a nice light and fruity feel to it. I think it would be ideal for more casual situation where you are pretending to not care but still want to be fabulous, for example, school. 

ULTRA-MOISTURIZING HAND AND BODY CREAM

Experience the luxury of fragrant hydration. Intensive formula is fortified with replenishing avocado and sweet almond oils, plus hydrating honey. Massage on for rich, 24-hour moisture, focusing on dry, rough areas. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation. 

I this cream to be rich (but not at all heavy) and creamy. The cream was quickly absorbed into my skin and left it feeling instantly smooth without leaving behind a greasy, sticky residue. Since I have been using it my skin looks smooth, soft and well hydrated and we all know what that means! 

DEEP-SOFTENING BODY BUTTER

 Experience the luxury of fragrant hydration. Restorative formula is enriched with deeply conditioning shea and jojoba butters, plus antioxidant vitamin E. Massage on for long-lasting, intensive moisture, focusing on dry, rough areas. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation.

The body butter has to be my favourite in the range, it goes on thick and moisturising but it is not tacky and you forget you even put it on 5 minutes later. I have a skin condition on my thighs which I used the cream on. Generally, if putting cream on your legs, you have to dance around the bathroom for 15 minutes waiting for it to dry and even then, you pants still stick to you. I find with this I can put them on   as soon as I am ready. 

HYDRATING BODY LOTION

Experience the luxury of fragrant hydration. Fast-absorbing formula contains nourishing aloe, oat and grapeseed extracts, plus antioxidant vitamins E and C. Massage on for silky, replenishing moisture. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation.

The moisturising part, the moisturising effect stays for good 5-6 hours. It is pretty apt for a lotion with such consistency. Price wise, it is obviously good. It is fairly similar to the ones above it, so there is not much else to say.

Overall, I was happy with my experience and I would repurchase. At the moment, Victorias Secret is having a sale and you can get any of these bad boys for 5 for $30. Bargain compared to other high end creams and scrubs

Review: Lush Face Mask

Relaxing and reviving, mineral-rich mask to cleanse, soften and beautify all skins. This blend, inspired by the sea, contains fresh and nutritious seaweed and seaweed absolute. Cleansing kaolin, antiseptic honey, calming aloe vera and rose absolute make this a great mask for everyone. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for five to ten minutes, and then rinse with warm water. Keep chilled.

Overall, I was not impressed with it. I goes on very chunky and thick in parts which can flake off while it dries and create a bit of a mess. I bought this mask with the intention of minimising some redness from scarring on my face from bad skin. However, I do not think this was a miracle product at all, I saw no immediate results. The fact that it has to be refrigerated really doesn't work, it makes the mask super cold and uncomfortable to put on. It has a short dating so it doesn't last very long and considering the price, $16, I would of liked it to last a little longer. My skin did feel smooth but not cleansed like a mask usually does, I actually had to put a second one on after this to really make my skin feel clean. 

Overall, I would not recommend or repurchase. You tell me if you can see a difference.
